It's official! We have new carpet and our sign on the building. We are so excited to be on our new campus. There are still a few openings for the 25-26 school year. Do you know someone that would benefit from an amazing dyslexia school? ... See MoreSee Less

We would love to get our students earlier than 2nd or 3rd grade. Oftentimes, we don't get our students until 5th 6th grade because the schools have told parents to "give their child time.... they will grow out of it." We know that is not true! Only structured, sequential, direct instruction will allow students with dyslexia to become proficient readers and that takes time and intensity! This study, out of Nadine Gaab's lab, @ Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard University is their newest work on reading & 🧠 development.
They found that trajectories between kids with and without reading disabilities start diverging around 18 months of age — not at age 5 or 6 as previously thought. The finding could have serious implications for policy, said Gaab, because it underscores the need for early identification of struggling readers, early intervention, and improved early literacy curricula in preschools. news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2025/06/reading-skills-and-struggles-manifest-earlier-than-thought/
